Norma Vazquez, DDS, Inc.
A Great Dentist

Meet the Team at Madison Street

For over thirty years, Dr. Norma Vazquez has dedicated herself to transforming the dental experience for her patients. What sets our Riverside practice apart isn't just advanced technology or comprehensive services—it's our steadfast commitment to treating each patient as we with the same care and respect we would our loved ones.

This commitment is reflected in the core values that guide every aspect of our practice. These values are more than words—they represent the standard we hold ourselves to every day.

Our Core Values

Integrity

We believe in recommending only the treatments you need and presenting them with clear explanations of all options. Our treatment plans consider all your unique needs and are designed with your best interests at heart.

Excellence

Exceptional dentistry goes beyond clinical skill. It's about understanding your unique needs, respecting your preferences, and adapting our approach to meet them. We measure our success not just by clinical outcomes, but by your experience throughout your visit.

Compassion

We understand that dental anxiety is real and respect the courage many patients must have to seek dental care. Our entire team approaches each interaction with empathy, gentleness, and patience, transforming many fearful patients into individuals who look forward to their dental visits.

Communication

We take time to explain procedures in detail, listen carefully to your concerns, answer questions thoroughly, and ensure you feel informed and confident about your treatment decisions. During procedures, we’ll check in with you frequently, providing support and reassurance.

Relationship-Based Care

We believe the best dental care happens within trusting relationships that develop over time. Our family-like atmosphere creates a sense of belonging that transforms routine dental visits into pleasant connections with people who genuinely care about you.

Dr. Norma Vazquez

Dr. Norma Vazquez brings global expertise to her practice, having begun her dental career in 1993 after graduating from the University of São Paulo in Brazil. Upon moving to the United States, she completed her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at Loma Linda University before working as an associate for several years and opening her practice in 2009.

For Dr. Vazquez, dentistry represents the perfect blend of science and art, allowing her to work with her hands and create meaningful, lasting results that positively impact patients' self-esteem. She treasures the relationships she builds with her team members, whom she considers family, and values their collaborative approach to patient care.

Remarkably multilingual, Dr. Vazquez is fluent in four languages, including Guaraní, a language spoken only in Paraguay. This international perspective enriches her practice and allows her to connect with patients from diverse backgrounds. When not caring for patients, she enjoys gardening, hiking with her dogs, and experimenting with new recipes. Travel is another passion, particularly when it allows her to provide volunteer dental services to those in need.

Dr. Vazquez shares a unique interest with her family: stargazing, with favorite viewing locations in Death Valley and Big Bear. Another surprising fact about Dr. Vazquez is that she owns four giant Sulcata tortoises.

Guadalupe

Registered Dental Hygienist

Guadalupe has worked as a dental hygienist since 2014 and joined Dr. Vazquez's practice in 2019 after completing her education at Loma Linda University. Her own transformative orthodontic experience inspired her career path, showing her firsthand how taking control of oral health can help people fall in love with their smiles.

As a registered dental hygienist, Guadalupe provides comprehensive preventive care, including oral cancer screenings, patient education, and advanced treatments like local anesthesia and laser therapy for periodontal disease. Her extensive training allows her to offer specialized care while maintaining her primary focus: ensuring every patient feels comfortable throughout their visit. What she treasures most about her role is the opportunity to see patients regularly and witness their oral health improvements over time.

When she's not helping patients achieve healthier smiles, you'll likely find Guadalupe browsing her local bookstore or hitting the slopes for some skiing—always with her mouthguard, of course!
