Dr. Norma Vazquez
Dr. Norma Vazquez brings global expertise to her practice, having begun her dental career in 1993 after graduating from the University of São Paulo in Brazil. Upon moving to the United States, she completed her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at Loma Linda University before working as an associate for several years and opening her practice in 2009.
For Dr. Vazquez, dentistry represents the perfect blend of science and art, allowing her to work with her hands and create meaningful, lasting results that positively impact patients' self-esteem. She treasures the relationships she builds with her team members, whom she considers family, and values their collaborative approach to patient care.
Remarkably multilingual, Dr. Vazquez is fluent in four languages, including Guaraní, a language spoken only in Paraguay. This international perspective enriches her practice and allows her to connect with patients from diverse backgrounds. When not caring for patients, she enjoys gardening, hiking with her dogs, and experimenting with new recipes. Travel is another passion, particularly when it allows her to provide volunteer dental services to those in need.
Dr. Vazquez shares a unique interest with her family: stargazing, with favorite viewing locations in Death Valley and Big Bear. Another surprising fact about Dr. Vazquez is that she owns four giant Sulcata tortoises.
